1. Who we are

Formation Alert (“we”, “us”) is operated by Will Evans as a UK-based sole trader. Contact: hello@formationalert.com.

2. What Formation Alert does

We deliver a weekly digest email listing newly-incorporated UK Ltd companies that match filters (SIC codes, postcode areas, name keywords) you choose. The data source is the UK Companies House public register.

3. Your subscription

Formation Alert is a monthly subscription at £49 per month. A 7-day free trial applies to your first subscription; a valid payment method is required to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, we will charge £49 and every calendar month thereafter until you cancel.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access to the digest until then. We do not use cancellation friction, retention flows, or hidden dark patterns.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the digest lawfully. Specifically: you will not send unsolicited bulk email to the contacts in the digest, will comply with UK PECR/GDPR when contacting individuals, and will not resell the data as-is. The digest is a research aid to inform your own outreach.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. If a scheduled Tuesday digest fails to send due to a fault on our side, we will resend within 48 hours; if we cannot, we will credit you a proportional refund on request.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to Formation Alert is limited to the total fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to you at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use after that period constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
